The officer said he was knocked to the ground by Mr. Long. Throughout the tape, though, he remains on his feet, even after banging into Mr. Long.I mean, really? even with clear evidence to the contrary, the officer swears he was knocked to the ground? How smart do you have to be again to join the squad? Cause I know a bunch of people in special education classes that could use some extra cash. Clearly this officer rode the short bus to school if he thinks this sort of sworn testimony is going to get the guy in trouble. Idiot.
I still don't really care for the Critical Mass folks - I love the idea, but unfortunately most of the people who run the thing are all whacko. And I still fully believe that it was a great takedown, and I have to give the officer credit for his tackling skills. But he should have been on a field chasing down a running back, not on the job assaulting some dude (even if said dude IS a little odd).
